SSGC is a public limited company listed on the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges with 60.43 percent direct share holding by the Government of Pakistan (GOP). It has an authorized capital of Rs.10 billion, of which Rs. 6.7 billion is issued and fully paid up and managed by an autonomous Board of Directors having overall control. Presently, SSGC‚s Board has 14 members drawn both from the public and private sectors. The Managing Director/Chief Executive is nominated by the GOP and has been delegated with such powers by the Board of Directors as are necessary to effectively conduct the business of the Company.
SSGC has successfully migrated its billing, customer care, metering and other customer-related functions to Oracle(r) Utilities Customer Care and Billing. The Professional at SSGC integrate business processes, aligning them with industry benchmarks and industry-leading practices.

A Team of 45+ is deputed at SSGC to facilitate SSGC in deploying and implementing Customer Care & Billing - CC&B System effectively.

This project is divided mainly into three different modules for its simplicity as it is a very complex system and all these three modules are dependent on each other as they carry the same information but security and reliability and authentication are the key most important points.

An Integrated Workflow Purpose Build Application Software Module Lay’s Connect (Consumer / Quality Complaints Monitoring System) was developed in consultation with PEPSICO Team & other Stakeholders using all standard functionalities & technologies of VmsApps

Main Activities

• Quality Complaints Monitoring System is a system that will allow the different departments of the organization to take appropriate action on a raised complaint by the Area Sales Managers, through a central computer system in order to provide integrated, reliable, standardized, and timely solution for the raised complaints. 
• Quality Complaints Monitoring System will combine all information entered from different departments throughout an organization into a central database. From this central database, information is made available to any department that wishes to access it. 
• When an ASM will place a complaint, the complaint is usually placed into the sales department computer system. From there, the information will pass by paper method to Q.A department’s computer system; this will take time and promotes errors in the process. 
• Quality Complaints Monitoring System will rid the organization of this dated and costly method by allowing data entered at one location to be available to any other department throughout the organization. 
• Implementing a client/server relationship throughout the organization performs the magic of Quality Complaints Monitoring System. Various types of information are entered into client computers distributed amongst the departments. The information is then sent directly into a central application processor running the Quality Complaints Monitoring System software package. This server organizes the data appropriately and stores it in the central database. 
• When information will be requested by a different part of the organization, the Quality Complaints Monitoring System will extract the information from the database and delivers it to that particular department for their allowed necessary action.
• The benefits of Quality Complaints Monitoring System systems are: more integrated, efficient and standardized complaints information. 
• Oftentimes different departments discover many conflicting versions of pertinent information, leading to confusion and internal debate. 
• Quality Complaints monitoring System fixes this problem by providing standardized, integrated information resulting in only one version of the truth.
